In appreciation for those who serve
The Norwalk Union Cemetery Military Appreciation Program
Endorsed by the City of Norwalk Veteran´s Council.
This program is designed specially for families faced with the sudden loss of someone who served in the United States Armed Forces. Let us help you save at least $1,150.00 when you need it most and keep your loved one close to home. Veterans may be entitled to a free burial in the Connecticut State Veterans´ Cemetery in Middletown (a 4 hour round trip from Norwalk) or in the National Cemetery on Cape Cod (a 6 hour round trip from Norwalk). However, many families would prefer to have their loved ones buried closer to home.
Our Military Appreciation Program allows each and every family to have that option at a cost that is significantly less than traditional burial in most other private cemeteries.
In recognition of the service of you or a loved one - regardless of branch of service, length of time served, or where you live - we are honored to provide a free single depth burial space in our cemetery. You will receive a deed for a single depth burial site valued at $1,280.00 for only $228.00 Perpetual care is required by Connecticut State Law and this fee includes all perpetual care charges and a one-time $100.00 conveyance fee for deed processing.
Additional adjacent single depth space(s) for family members, adjacent to the free space are available with affordable, in-house interest free payment plans. Additional spaces are optional and not a condition of this offer. No other private cemetery in Southern Connecticut offer this incentive to keep families of those men and women who serve together.
The spaces available for this offer are limited and certain terms and conditions apply. Services of a funeral home, burial vaults and interment fees are not included. Interment fees are charged at the time of need. The same Poluguard products used in many national cemeteries are available from us for far less than concrete burial vaults and liners.
